Sherwood Forest National Nature Reserve is a 450 acre country park. The forest has 900 veteran oak trees including England’s Tree of the Year 2014, The Major Oak.

These ancient trees often with just their gnarled carcases left are full of character and sculptural qualities. They stand proud in these ancient woodlands, dominating the landscape around them.
